  1. New videos revealed shows wheels, assembly, snow track testing, less camo

My prediction is no driver display. But we definitely saw the headlights and taillights blurred. Taillights were on the inside of the mock bed
  2. New videos revealed shows wheels, assembly, snow track testing, less camo

Looks like we get to see the side mirrors!
  3. Calculated Battery Size Based on the Images

I think it's pretty clear there will be two battery configs; a battery in the 50 kWh range, and a larger one to hit that 300 mi target
  4. Calculated Battery Size Based on the Images

Hasn't everything they've said so far been about a 300 mi range small electric pickup? I have to imagine we're getting worked up over nothing so far
  5. Apple Maps Navigation Announced For Ford Ranchero EV / Universal Electric Vehicle Platform

I think the hardware will be standard, like on Teslas. My prediction is that the tech will be the same across the trims, but things like larger battery, dual motor, etc will be the options; similar to Model 3 and Model Y
  6. Calculated Battery Size Based on the Images

Very interesting! Deep dives like this are very fun. 51kWh usable on a 55kWh pack seems feasible. I'm curious if this is the smaller of the two batteries that have been alluded to. Has there been confirmation of multiple battery capacities? Or just speculation? Either way, ~200 miles (assuming...
  7. Two Ranchero EVs spotted @ Tesla supercharging station in California

I think it's been confirmed to use NACS. I also prefer the position of the charge port on the Lightning, but I understand why they chose driver-side rear
  8. Apple Maps Navigation Announced For Ford Ranchero EV / Universal Electric Vehicle Platform

Right, I just don't know if that means standard CarPlay or CarPlay Ultra. They may not be able to announce too much before Ford is ready
  9. Apple Maps Navigation Announced For Ford Ranchero EV / Universal Electric Vehicle Platform

This is pretty exciting news, and I'm curious to see how it all pans out. I wonder if the UEV will offer the full CarPlay Ultra experience? Or if this is strictly for navigation.
  10. Two Ranchero EVs spotted @ Tesla supercharging station in California

I prefer the port location of the Lightning, but can see why this is better for most people. At my house, pulling into the driveway would put my EVSE at the front left of the vehicle. So back left means I'll need to back in and have the cord crossing the back
  11. Ranchero Bed Patent Reveals Recessed Cab Wall

I don't think that image depicts Ford's traditional pickups. Look at the rake of the windshield and the short hood
  12. Ranchero design analysis

What is that patent for? Edit: just saw your other post. Nice!
  13. Ranchero design analysis

Obviously we don't know what it looks like under the cover, but I find myself cautiously optimistic that it will look...pretty cool? The front end seems aggressive, I like the raked back windshield, and I like the lower stance. I really hope we see more of this thing soon. There seems to be a...
  14. Ranchero design analysis

    LIDARR stack, most likely
  15. UEV Pickup Spotted - Dearborn, Michigan

good catch! Im all for it. I don’t need this thing to look like a conventional pickup
  16. UEV Pickup Spotted - Dearborn, Michigan

That is my thought, too. I'm excited to see what it looks like. I'm hoping that if it goes on sale in early 2027, that means we may see more officially this yearw
  17. UEV Pickup Spotted - Dearborn, Michigan

Mid-Size Ford EV Pickup Prototype Spotted Wearing New Camo Some interesting pics! We get to see some more of the rear spoiler, and this one has even MORE padding on the nose.
  18. Ranchero EV spied in hot weather testing in AZ

I think it looks pretty sleek. The beltline is definitely higher than I would have assumed, but I think it makes the side profile look pretty good
  19. Ranchero EV spied in hot weather testing in AZ

Thanks for the post! It's fun to see it begin popping up. I remember how fun it was to see the Slate at random Tesla Supercharger locations across the country etc and seeing pics pop up on the Slate forums. I have to think that the padding over the hood and the rear window are to disguise its...
  20. Ford (Farley) says Ranchero EV / UEV platform can beat Chinese EVs in efficiency due to engineering by F1 engineers

I'm not sure what to make of that last paragraph. If you pair their battery with a gas truck, it would go further? That sounds....obvious. But I'm likely just misinterpreting that statement
