I suspect that the rear wall could possibly open up like a hatch to allow hauling longer items with the rear seat folded.

It's not the bed size that determines the truck class. This is longer than the Maverick overall, which puts it in the mid size class.

For sure, no way they just happened to get a tip about the day, time, location etc. In the video too, the UEV pickup pauses for extended periods to let the guy record too

Yes and doing multiple passes slowly in a parking lot. I doubt that's part of the prototype testing method

Anyways, glad we got a first look now! I think it'll look like a nice little ute once revealed.

This is #1 on my list to replace my 38,000+ mile Maverick next year. Ford will have to dramatically botch things to change my plans, and I just don't think they will. Ford may stumble now and then executing, but they definitely know their truck customers.

I sooo wish Ford would do a two-door variant. But I know that's a total fantasy.

The inside bed caught my attention. I'm wondering if that's a glossy bed mat, a spray, or a composite bed. It sure looks slippery and glossy. Kind of hoping the final product is matte rough finish. BTW, huge fan of composite beds here. They're strong and they don't dent or rust. The Santa Cruz had a composite bed, as does the Ridgeline.
