Maybe we can get a discount on an order for two? Your list is my list as well as my expectations on price. My wife is also 5 foot, so the two seat setting for memory seats is a need if she decides to drive it. We have 2023 Honda crv touring for travel, and the memory seats with two diiferent settings keyed into the remote has been sweet. I’m six foot. I’m 73 and hold my vehicles for ten years and usually 150,000 miles. Looking for the technology to be current not ten years old. Also want a good warranty for total coverage and a loaner if the vehicle is incapacitated or extended in the shop due to parts. Ford has had a record year for recalls and the Maverick first year had a pretty long list of problems that needed to be corrected. Since the engineering is an extension of Tesla and Chinese technologies, I am hoping that there will be less quality issues than experieinced in past new models.I would buy the XLT LUX package like in my Maverick. Things I'd love to have (and I'm willing to pay for them)...
I get that Ford is making a $30,000 base trim. I want the $35,000 or $40,000 XLT or better trim.
- 360 camera
- (daydreaming) A shorter two-door, extended-cab variant under 180 inches long
- built-in navigation
- super high tech interface - all the bells and whistles - I want to talk to my car
- AWD for my steep driveway
- I want to be able to buy the next gen BlueCruise. I'm 70. I want my truck to do the driving on the interstate.
- Cloth seats. Please. With sugar on top.
- all the nice features I have on my XLT LUX. The bed lighting. The load management system. Heated seats and steering wheel. As many safety features as I can buy. The spray in bedliner or a composite bed.
- Memory seats and controls. So my 5-foot tall wife will be willing to drive it. If I could transplant the super comfortable cloth seats from my Mav, I would in an eyeblink. I love those seats.
- I want a simple drivers display. Not some crazy over-the-top insanity like some OEMs have done. "Just the facts, ma'am"
