I joined this forum to learn more about midsized EV pickup from Ford.
I’ve owned Ford pick ups since 1982 with a majority being Rangers and the last two being F150’s, 2015 Lariat Ecoboost and 2022 Lightning Lariat.
The Lightning is a fantastic vehicle and a usable pickup truck. I’m ready to go back to a smaller truck but will stay with EV technology.
Hope to see more activity on this forum.

Made the step to a Hybrid Maverick in 2025 and I am ready to make the leap to a full EV....being a Ford fan makes it only natural to get a Ford EV....don't need a full size truck and the better half already has an SUV....so, here I wait for the new Midsize EV truck from Ford.

Greetings.
I currently own a 2022 Ford F150 PowerBoost.
Primary reason for buying this truck is has Pro Power Onboard generator system. I can power our home if needed.
I have interest in the upcoming mid size Ranchero as I don't really need a full sized truck.
It appears that this new vehicle will have bidirectional charging capability. That works for me.
Hopefully the expected 300 mile range will become reality.
I'm looking forward to learning more about the Ranchero in the coming year and will be putting in a reservation when the time comes to do so.

Just joined this forum today after seeing a post in the Maverick Forum about the new midsize EV truck from Ford. I own a 24 Maverick Hybrid and love it. My wife drives a 23 Bronco Sport. We would love for the BS to be a hybrid as well so I can see us replacing it with a full EV at some point too. Not sure if I will want the Ranchero, if that’s what it will be called, because I would have to give up my Maverick to do that. But I’m very interested in what Ford is doing on this new EV platform. Anxious to see more info on here as it starts leaking out and especially interested to hear owner perspectives once this truck goes into production and starts selling.

Hi Everyone!

I have a 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid. I am keeping an eye on this upcoming EV as a potential replacement for my truck. I had a Chevy Bolt EUV as a test run into the EV world and loved it! Ended up selling it with baby #3 on the way we needed a bigger vehicle and I wasn't willing to sell my Maverick yet. Living in Central Minnesota I will be interested to see the specs as this gets closer to being a production vehicle

Hi all,

Past vehicles owned were a Ford Courier, two Rangers, one Tacoma and I currently own a Hybrid Maverick and a 2 door Bronco. The Bronco is the mid life crisis and the Maverick is the daily driver and I love them both. The Ranchero (and I do hope they keep the name) might be a nice retirement gift in five years to replace the Maverick. The Bronco I keep forever.

Hi all,

2021 Mach E and 2022 Lightning here. Not looking for a mid-size truck myself right now as I need a bigger bed and more towing capacity. Glad to see the "Ranchero" coming to market though.
